Today we lost a true legend and pioneer in Hip Hop. Adam Yauch aka MCA was a member of the iconic Beastie Boys. MCA, Ad-Rock, Mike D, and Mixmaster Mike made up the group that helped bring Hip Hop to the level it has reached today. They along with RUN DMC and ATCQ are in my eyes the greatest Hip Hop groups ever. It’s a sad day in Hip Hop.
I remember watching Video Music Box with my older brother and rocking to tracks like Paul Revere and No Sleep Til’ Brooklyn. My all time favorite track is Intergalactic though. That video was crazy. Although MCA is gone…..his music lives forever. Rest In Power. Bless.
