She is also the 1st solo female Hip Hop artist to score two consecutive platinum singles, “The Goddess” and “To The Bone”. Wande Dee is now considered as The Queen of Techno Music and is a member of the British Techno group, The KLF. Don’t Forget Coco Chanel,straight outta’ Killa Qu.made a name at house party’s from QUtoBK.Then as King’s Of Swings DJ.W/“NodYa’HeadToThis”,They were on FPM,w/LYTE/&MILK’s pops owned first priority,&distributed by Atlantic.King Of Chill,very zzz’d upon,&MilkD,did most of production.LP’s a worthwile find.They had the vid w/a CentralPark carriage horse(how can i forget name of,not the horses,lol.the “term”for those Rickshaw joints)w/the horse even Nod’n Hed to…..i loved that.She went on to BET’s Teen Summit,not my cup of tea but i could never hate on A Legend that’s Teaching the youth how to Rock,Shock…..

I want to thank Afrika Bambaataa for mentoring me into the Hip Hop game and for making my the female inductee into The Universal Zulu Nation; without him and my Zulu Family, my forays in Hip Hop would have not been possible. And my Manager & Husband, Eric Floyd, whom we have collectively built Goddess Empire Entertainment into the multi-media, multi-national company that it is today. It all still started back in The Bronx, ‘The Birth Place Of Hip Hop’!
I can only hope that my strides in this business will serve as a consistent source of inspiration, education, motivation, information, determination & fascination for all those who came behind me to ‘dare to be different’, just as I was inspired by the likes of Lena Horne, Eartha Kitt, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Grace Jones, Diahanne Carroll, Edith Piaf, Iris Chacon, Dionne Warwick, Shirley Bassey, Peggi Blu, Freda Payne, Leslie Uggams, Chita Rivera, Lola Folana and the legendary Diva Originale, whose death day of April 12th was my actual birthday, Miss Josephine Baker!
