The first time I ever heard Canibus was with DeeRok (7th Boro) back in high school. Dee played “Beasts from the East” by the Lost Boys and this dude with the last verse completely annihilates the microphone. I had never heard no shit like that in my life. Easily top 5 verses of all time in my eyes. Fast forward twenty years and Canibus is back with another project. He’s had his share of ups and downs on the “industry” side of things but one thing is undeniable. Canibus always brings us that raw hip hop. Support this gentlemen.
