I’ll be honest. I was worried for a minute because it seemed like everyone was following that trap type sound. That’s why artists like D Dave gives me hope for hip-hop. You might remember him from the dope single ‘Main Event’ from his equally impressive debut album Let Me Get Em that made the DJ mixtape rounds back in 2010. I’ll admit after that I didn’t really check for him, that’s on me (because he has released dope singles since then) but I was happy to find out that he is about to drop a new collaborative album with producer SoulTronik called Soul Bap.
