Dope interview with DMX. Both videos are about 22 mins combined… but very entertaining.
As far as Hip Hop, he says Machine Gun Kelly is good, J. Cole is nice, Jeezy is wack…. but the best part is when DMX, unlike most Hip Hop Legends, clearly and honestly states how he feels about Ross and Drake. Here is a quick summary:
“Breakfast Club” co-host Charlamagne Tha God said:
“Rick Ross is like Biggie”
DMX:
“Rick Ross ‘looks’ more like Biggie,” I’m just not impressed, man. I’m not impressed. … He’s aight, man, he just talks about eating, girlfriends too much. How much can a n*gga eat? How much weed can you smoke? Like, aight. Let’s talk about something else. I know you got the Maybach, the Ashton Martin, OK. Good for you, damn. Come on. I see a whole ‘nother side of the coin, son.”
They ask DMX about Weezy, but he simply says, “We cool”. I think he WANTS to say that Wayne is wack… but doesn’t. I Wish he would tho.
DMX says about Drake:
“I don’t like anything about Drake. I don’t like his fucking voice. I don’t like what he talks about, I don’t like his face, I don’t like the way he walks, I don’t like nothing. I don’t like his haircut. I might just — let me shut up. Stop right there.”
Charlamagne Tha God said:
“Legendary Hip Hop figures just give these guys passes. They don’t say anything. It’s OK to say, “Yo, this dude’s wack”. You don’t gotta act like you like something. For What?”
