I remember back in the day when I copped my first Aiwa sound system. I was so amped because now I could listen to the music I love at a volume that does it justice. Before getting the stereo system I would listen to my cassettes on an old school Sony walkman. I had no idea how much I was missing listening to Hip Hop on a walkman vs. listening on a stereo. If you’re like me (a true Hip Hop lover), hearing certain tracks make the hairs on your arm stand……especially when played at high volumes. One example would be Masta Ace’s “Sittin’ On Chrome” album. I burned that tape out but didn’t really feel the impact until I popped the CD in the AIWA. JESUS!!! What a difference that was! Listening to ” U Cant Find Me” changed everything!  The point I’m trying to get at is this…..Hip Hop should be played a loud volumes. If your track sounds great in your earphones…..pop that shit into a boombox or a stereo system and do that track justice! Peace.
