I had to post this for Mills. If you have never heard this joint, you are in for a treat. Every MC on this track destroys it. Listen to this. Bless.

Pharoahe Monch, Mos Def, Talib, Rah Digga, and A-Butta – Talkin’ To You!

Agreed, you could make this my all-star crew,&i wouldn’t be mad.
BLESS,Ethex…..ps-i have some good stories bout’Rah……&fello Outsider/&hubby(former/still/who knows)…….that’ll give everyone some N.Y. Cheer……
^^My bad,i shouldn’t assume people know i’m speaking of Young Zee.So…..also let me take a sec…..to say those who only know Zee…..from the BLAZE Battles…..go back and peop the Fugees “The Score” diamond plus selling lp.Who laces a verse,or 2 on said LP…..But my best (&the) most Rare (doesn’t mean better,in this case though…..) Zee was 19,outta’ NWK.,NJ…..&Stepped to by KRS (’95)’about doing a Trk. for his Newly Formed Front Page(i still have interview adat tape)Entertainment…..whose only release to that point…..was the stellar Mad Lion…..12″(pause,lol)…..“Take It Easy”b/w……“Big Box Of Blunt’s” ……the former had an occumpaning video with RSC,TATS(cru,)&many UZN members……shot up at’ around 131st&Brooke in the So.Boogie Dwn……a great time…..back to the point.
Young Zee&his first 12…..entitled…..“Milk(that’s what they call me)”…..if you spot it,COP it……Blastmaster handles prod. duties, even helping w/the hook……much(albeit,Broadway’s hook for”Must Stay Paid” was the sampled vocal snippet from“Still #1”……“rebel,renagade,must’stay paid!!!!”)…..Krs’ does the live&direct hook on this joint,if op arises(pause)…..snatch it up…..Funny what sent me on mini-tangent……is that Rah’s delivery rough&tough……& all that stuff.Young Zee’s is all about delivery…..smooth…..w/a KGR….like lisp.
I remember this record very well. I had the white label of this on vinyl, that I had gotten from my man Victor Loiaza. Such a dope line up of emcees. It used the same sample Defari used for “Never Lose Touch”. Yes, I’m in nerd mode right now. Peace to you Stroydnaire and peace to Ethex. The Usual Suspect in the plaza……
