It included amazing production by RZA and the incredible chemistry of 9 MCs. Each MC brought a dynamic and unique style and sound that came together flawlessly.

This was a crazy time in Hip Hop! So many styles from so many artists. Ghostface and Gza are my favorites.
Give me a few i’ma TELL you why hiphop in the east was SAVED by these 2lp’s after the jump,as i said about Tip’s voice.An instrument you can’t by OR replace(see,Justin Warfield“season of the vic”or any Tim&Magoo trk/or Vocal trk.slide 23or47 down,that’s studio talk peoples,lol.I really am enjoying this is way better than the Day Room!!!!
I Just,must,touch on what that guy Stroy above me said,then i’ll return(like BrandNubian,over a Primo trk.)Stroy,you are beyond correct.How’s this for a Wetlands show(got my stub in photo album along w/flyer/stub collection of classic nyc/nj shows,&like DjSpinna&Jay-i-gee’s“Across the Globe” shows)the headliner,Tribe.Dec30th’93.DELA,co-headliner(peoples forget,not us,but everybody at times)DeLa,when AwardTour drop’d as 1st 12″,off Midnight…,dela,had just 2mo’s prior released “Bahloone Mindstate”,w/what rival’s,imho.Any single ever,“Breakadawn”,clever lyrics,compound words,couplets w/trip meanings,even feat.’s outside the usual NT suspects,eg,Biz.Stone Age.Guru,Dres(whose,never really got his due,fanatic of b word,&his verse on DeLa’s Dead,just vocals,when he flipped,“I took the L-I-R’a/but i didn’t have a ticket!”Pure,unadaulterated butter(Mills,after jump.I’ll finish(&start verse,unless you wanna’do honors,lol.)Anyway,those 2ledgendary crews,&get this a10man(&1women,BlueRasberry.was intro’d to crowd thatnight)»dope! Funny,i was never a wall flower,always game to dance(w/a partner.As opposed to takin’ opponents out w/the dope 5-count).The legendary,Magnificent Force,turned Rock Steady.All around dope bboy Jorge Pabon,aka PopMasterFabel.His wife(now,congrats Christy&Jorge)better late than never.We rock,shocked night away,as Tip&Phife,along w/Mr.Ali(enjoyed Ali,piece Stroy.illest punchlines from The Greatest!!!!)rocked a 2hr.set.Oh,whatta’night,word to Frankie Valli.Wu ended there(opening act,how wild’s that alone)an hr.set for a “new”crew,unheard of.Yes,ended in an unreal(refliping verses&Gza adding a bonus verse instead of w/“mudfight”,then ruckus noises,&needless to say,i had a recording device strapped.only/&ALWAYS for personal use,never!Word to GOD,not anyone said i did.but never w“intent to distibute,to me ya’bootleg(&w/my situation trust your boy 7thboro fans.mines shattered!)you get ya leg broke.Loved that joint,S&B rocked all thru’92.Feb all way to dec.
Anyway,if you fella’s are cool with.I wanna’ think this LP out deeper than usual MATH!yoU have Tha Rebel INS-Deck(in my top lead-off spot,for a lil’older heds.Or on a-game seeds!I compare INS.Deck,as the Ricky Henderson of hiphop emceeing!w/a 1000% on base percentage.You have the brilliant,“i’ll,i’ll put crazy glue in your asscrack&then keep feeding you,&feeding you”.(forgeting said laxitive,you got me doe,lol)The “KILLER TAPE skit,you felt like crew!or fly on wall.Then “Shame on a Nigga”where(as did w/S&B20th anny)Ol’dirty shows how incredible he was w/mic,device,right.So let me get back,i’ma do tha knowledge deservant.Cause as dope as Quest’s easily most consistent 3classics straight.resume’s obvious.I’ma speak on the instrument,that changed e.coast prod.forever(for better).&how this LP may be most important of golden era(which i consider’83-95,yours may dif,Mazzi,were same age.To him it’s 86-’94.But told him that’d leave OB4CL’s out&The Infamous out.Sorry,noone can’t tell me ’95 was classic as any,go back.do math for fun)soon as i feel better.
