On November 17, 1992, Ice Cube released his 3rd solo album: The Predator.
Ice Cube has a sick and unique rapping style and delivery. I feel that he is very slept on as an MC. This album has him going very hard and spittin with anger and rage. The inspiration of the album came from the racial tensions of the time and the Rodney King riots. These events are the reasons why he came so hard and angry on this album. This album is very solid and his lyrics and content are very powerful.
When Will You Shoot, We Had to Tear This Mothaf*cka Up, and Say Hi to the Bad Guy are filled with those deep lyrics and content…..Check Yo Self was insane….but It Was A Good Day has to be the best track on this album.
