The other night 6th Sense absolutely slayed the 8th annual Donuts Are Forever party in Brooklyn. Donuts are Forever (DAF for short), if you didn’t know, is a yearly celebration of the life of the acclaimed producer J. Dilla, who past away in 2006 due to his illness.
I’ve been to DAF’s across the world, and this was the first time I have seen anyone do this, and I can tell you, all the people there all appreciated the time and effort spent on bringing a fresh take on Dilla’s genius.
