Being a fan of Hip hop since the early 80’s, I’ve seen this music go through many changes. I went listening to vinyl to cassettes to CD’s and now we have MP3’s. The main source of music back then was the radio. NYC radio used to play great Hip Hop back in the days but that is no longer the case. You have to depend on a collection of blogs to keep up with the latest good Hip Hop. I frequent a lot of these blogs and there is a large amount of music being released on a daily basis. Being a teacher/husband it’s tough to keep up with all these goodies being released. This is where DJ Absurd’s podcasts are really useful. It’s a great way to keep up with today freshest Hip Hop and he does the digging for you. If you haven’t downloaded any of this mans work, please do yourself a favor and do so.
