Jake One put up an old beat tape that he handed out at the Gavin Convention back around 1999. Yes, a REAL beat tape, like a cassette tape, remember those?! Take a listen to Jake’s early knock which still echoes in his work today. Around 10:00 in there is an early version of what would later go on to be Jake’s production for Gift of Gab’s song “Moonshine” from his 2004 release 4th Dimensional Rocketships.
