Circa spring 2007. This is not only my favorite track from Joell Ortiz’s debut album, ‘The Brick: Bodega Chronicles’, but my favorite song ever! Joell really lets the listener into who he is and makes you feel like you know him through his rhymes. It’s a jam I really relate to personally as well.
