In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This was inspired by Nick’s own life experiences and the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
“From an all-racially accepted Caucasian perspective
Racism’s alive and it’s pathetic
We all face it at one time or another
But regardless of our skin color, we’re all brothers
The sooner we accept it, better off we’ll be cuz
Right now we’re judged by people before they meet us
Fear of the unknown turns to hatred, contagious
Passed down through racist generations
But face lifts, bleached skin, and tans ain’t the answer
Deeper than the skin homie, better cut out the cancer
It’s a disease that parents give to their kids
Keep feeding them poison, racism will live
Self-inflicted pain is brainless
I wish that it was H.E.T. because it’s human entertainment
I B.E.T. that if aliens attack
We’d stand back to back with white, brown and black”
