Here’s something great to rock over the weekend if you haven’t already grabbed it. About a week and a half ago my close friend PJ Katz released the first installment off his new label Mordella Music. This is the followup to his April 2013 release Ear food Vol. 1, which you can go grab VIA his bandcamp page. Compiled of 23 tasty instrumental tapas, this release should prove to you that Upstate NY dont have time for the games. Just strictly dope music made from dope individuals, no strings attached. This man has taught me many things over the years, including house party hustlin, sex with women hanging out of sunroofs, and a ton of musical tricks. We’ve traded off equipment, beats, and even russian girlfriends at one time. He has stuck with me through the good and bad times, friends or no friends and for that I can’t thank him enough. I’m always willing to learn, especially from someone I enjoy being around. There are always things on the table in the works for both of us. Maybe at some point we will actually sit down and plan a release. Until then, it’s all love and inspiration. I should’ve posted this when it dropped, but was just caught up in a bunch of other stuff at the time so I didnt get the chance. Good news is now you have one of the best beat tapes you’ll ever download available tonight for your listening pleasure. If you don’t think that we can hang with the big boys, you are sadly mistaken my friend. Don’t be the last one to find out.
