What do you think of when you hear the name, “Mary J. Blige”? Most would answer, “R&B legend”, Queen Of R&B, legendary singer, beautiful, and possibly the best to ever do it. When I think of Mary, I think about Hip Hop. Think about all the Hip Hop joints that MJB has been on. One could say that making a track with Mary J. Blige would automatically launch you into superstar status. These are five of my personal MJB Hip Hop collaborations. Let me know if you feel differently. Bless.
These are in no particular order…………
Mary J. Blige & CL Smooth – Reminisce Remix
A blend of Pete Rock’s classic and MJB’s classic. Great track right here.
Method Man feat. Mary J. Blige – You’re All I Need To Get By
This is a Hip Hop classic! Meth & Mary destroyed this.
Mary J. Blige feat. Grand Puba – What’s The 411
This is by far my favorite of all the Mary joints. Grand Puba got his Maxwell on over this track.
Mary J. Blige feat. Notorious B.I.G. – Real Love (Bad Boy Remix)
Biggie and Mary……nuff said!
Jay Z – Can’t Knock The Hustle
A classic track off a classic album!
Honorable mentions:
DMX – Slippin’
MJB feat. Nas – Love Is All We Need
