Big Shug – We Miss You [Guru’s 50th Birthday Tribute] (Produced by DJ Premier)

Today the late Keith “Guru” Elam would’ve turned 50 years old.

To celebrate this special Day Big Shug has teamed up with none other than DJ Premier to salute their friend on a Song called “We Miss You”.

This beat was made in 2004 for Mary J Blige, but she rejected it…

    • Good Morning Ethex. Happy belated Birthday!
I’m doing good thanks just have been busy the last couple of days.
Words can’t describe how much I’m missing Guru nowadays. I mean people said he wasn’t a great artist just because he always sounded so monotone on the records with his flow. But that was the unique thing about him,he may sounded monotone but still made great records with Premier.
His music will live on even though he’s gone.
God Bless this Man,his Family and close Friends.
Shout out to the Gang Starr Foundation!
