The lead single off the upcoming EP, The Turning Point, “Charly Murphie”, which has very little to do with the famous actor/comedian brother of Eddie Murphy, features Agallah Don Bishop (8-Off the Assassin) and stands as eMC’s reaction to the current trend of radio friendly songs named after famous individuals. Masta Ace explains, ”There are so many of these songs out there named after famous people and most of them aren’t any good. Charly Murphie, produced by Detroit’s own 14KT, epitomizes the hardcore, aggressive, punch in the nose mentality which is a stark contrast to those other songs”
