So recently one of my twitter followers sent me a link to his music. I checked out the video, which I was digging and checked his catalog. I peeped both his previous LP’s Completion of The Great Work“ & Silk Road. His latest effort Sons Of Dawud is dropping soon.
This is what I can say. Haile Ali, hailing from Brooklyn is not going to be your typical emcee. As is apparent by just the title of his projects and his moniker Haile Ali’s style is concentrated on political messages, social consciousness, in other words…the fifth element of hip-hop Knowledge of Self. After spending the afternoon perusing his music I can dig it and will be checking for new music from Haile Ali. Like I said he may not be everyone’s cup of tea but give him a listen and peep the latest visual from his upcoming album Sons Of Dawud you might be surprised. Check it out!
