Soulfully,Me – Ventilation
There’s nothing better than opening an email that contains some fresh music. We get many emails (with music) here at the 7th Boro and I try my best to listen to all of them. There are a lot of talented cats out there who are better than these rappers on the radio now. Notice that I called them rappers. There’s a difference between a rapper and an MC. I’ll leave that for a different post though.
Soulfully, Me ends a slight hiatus by dropping an inspired freestyle over Little Brother’s Away From Me. Ventilation is Part 1 of the 9th Wonder Series that Soul will be doing. Each week Soul will drop a freestyle over an classic 9th Wonder beat to build anticipation for his new LP entitled Sincerely, Soul coming out in early 2012. Also, Soulfully, Me will be performing on BET’s 106 and Park October 26, 2011. Be sure to tune in for that soulful episode!
