Eminem – The Marshall Mathers LP: On May 23, 2000, Eminem released his second studio album. After the huge success he received from the Slim Shady LP, Marshall used this album to speak on his newly found fame. His lyrics and rhyme schemes were on point thorughout the entire album with topics that also included his relationship with his family, fans, critics, and society. He was a star after his debut album, but this album put him at superstar/icon status.

This album was very personal and he really brought us into his world. His relationship with his mom and wife were probably worse than we could imagine as heard on Kill You and Kim… we as fans don’t realize how difficult being a super star could be until we heard The Way I Am and Marshall Mathers… he also told us about the world and society as HE saw it on Who Knew and I’m Back… but by far the best track and one of MY FAVORITE tracks of ALL TIME is
