During an interview with The Champs, ?uestlove informed us that not only is Jay Electronica’s album finished, but Jay-Z referred to it as his “favorite record of 2012”. The only problem is that Jay Z is concerned with the fact that so far the album has no singles.
So let me get this straight: the album is done… Jay seems to think it is great… but a lack of single is the hold up?? COME ON Jigga!! All you do is make singles…. hook him up!!
@JayZ: Make it YOUR priority to put out this potential classic album!!!!
I personally think that signing with Roc Nation was a huge mistake. Jay has a way of ruining careers. For example, B.Sigel, Dame Dash, Freeway, & Sauce Money. These guys were down with the Roc from it’s early stages and where are they now? The only person saving the Roc is Kanye West. No offense to J.Cole….I’m sorry Mills.
Its all good….. I remember a couple instances when someone completely SLEPT on the likes of Joell Ortiz and Saigon. In due time, in due time…. you will see the light.
