I will never forget when The Roots dropped “Things Fall Apart”. This album, to me, is top 25 Hip Hop albums of all time. The leads single with Erykah Badu was a chart smashing classic and it had so many other jams on it also. None of them stick out as much as “Act Too: Love Of My Life” though. This track always reminds me of the love I have for this music. Black Thought and Common ‘s verses were written so eloquently. The violins at the the end of the track make this track so much more amazing. This is one of those tracks that give you goosebumps. My real Hip Hop Heads know what I’m talking about. I still and will always love her. Bless.
